AIS Test set in operation

Technical description

Aircraft Radio Test Set consists of two RF-channel:

- MF/HF-channel & VHF/UHF-channel

- MF/HF-channel operation modes: MF/HF-SSB, MF/HF-DSC, MF/HF-NAVTEX.

- VHF/ UHF-channel operation modes: VHF-FM, VHF- DSC, VHF-AIS, 406 MHz-COSPAS & AM-AVIA

- Generation of test measurement signals in MF / HF-channel with using DDS.

- Generation of test measurement signals in VHF/ UHF-channel with using CSP & quadrature modulator-IQ – method. For VHF-DSC & VHF-AIS LF modes - quadrature signal modulator with using IC CMX 910.

Operation modes

VHF-FM Mode

Frequency range : 100-475* MHz divided into sub-ranges

- 137 – 174 MHz; *(TA0395A: 156.3 – 162.025)

- 225 – 337* MHz; *(river: 300.025-300.500 и 336.025-336.500)

- 337* – 400 MHz;

- 400 – 475 MHz; *(MA07479: 400.5 – 416.5)

VHF-DSC Mode

Frequency modulation with a pre-emphasis of 6 dB/octave (phase modulation) with frequency-shift of the modulating sub-carrier for use on VHF channels:

– frequency-shift between 1300 and 2100 Hz; the sub-carrier being at 1700 Hz;

– the frequency tolerance of the 1300 and 2100 Hz tones is ± 10 Hz;

– the modulation rate is 1200 Bd;

– the index of modulation is 2.0 ± 10%

VHF-AIS Mode

406 MHz COSPAS/Sarsat Mode

Frequency range : 406,020 – 406,080 MHz

- Modulation: FM with frequency deviation: ±1,1 radian

- Frequency band: 2*Δf: 2,5 – 15 kHz depending on the rate of rise of the modulating signal

Features:

1. Demodulated signal (not in real time);
2. Signal frequency (beat frequency);
3. Received signal strength (RSSI);
4. Total transmission time -406Mhz (TTT);
5. Unmodulated carrier time -406МГц (UCT);
6. Phase deviation;
7. Decode details.

121,5 MHz mode:

1.Demodulated sweep-tone for auditory monitoring;
2. Signal frequency measurement;
3. Received signal strength (RSSI);
4. Min & max frequency sweep-tone (*);
5. Repetition frequency sweep-tone(*);
6.Morse-code decoding, which is used to modulate instead sweep-tone in the U.S. (*).

AM-AVIA Mode

- Frequency range : 108 – 137 MHz

- Frequency spacing 8,33 kHz

- Modulation: AM, modulation percentage 0-99%.

- Frequency band: 2*Δf: 2,5 – 15 kHz

406 MHz ELT Tester (Test Set)

406 MHz / 243 MHz / 121.5 MHz ELT TESTER is designed to check the avionics emergency locator transmitters (ELT) operating via COSPAS-SARSAT system. It provides accurate testing in volume of annual or maintenance requirements or fast check after ELT's encoding or installation in accordance with USA (FAA Part 91.207), Canada (CAR 571 Appendix G), Europe (CAA/EuroCAE) requirements.

ELT Tester Mini w/ Wi-Fi

ELT Tester Mini w/ W-Fi is third generation device designed to check the avionics emergency locator transmitters (ELT) operating via COSPAS-SARSAT system. Tester is operating with any mobile phone or desktop PC by means of Wi-Fi connection. It is small and light-weight. The ELT tester provides demodulation and complete decoding of Cospas-Sarsat messages. Test results will be displayed in your mobile phone, tablet or PC. All tests will be stored in internal memory for future use.

BT-611M Beacon Tester

BT-611M Beacon Tester is designed for high accuracy and resolution measurements of the full set of beacon signal parameters to check its compliance with the ones, specified in C/S doc. T.001, T.007. The tester is succesfully used for Cospas-Sarsat type approval certification process. It is professional specified test equipment for beacon manufacturers or test laboratories, service centers.

Beacon Simulator BG-105

Beacon Simulator BG-105 is high-precision simulator of Cospas-Sarsat emergency beacon messages. BG-105 allows to simulate up to five simultaneously operating beacons with messages overlay in time. The generator is intended to operate under PC control to provide the customization of main parameters of each simulated beacon on every of five channels by means of terminal program.

Airborne AIS Test Set

Airborne AIS Test Set provide reliable testing of Airborne/Aircraft Automatic Identification System operation. The AIS Test Set is intended for verification of marine and avionics AIS installations. The AIS Tester is specified equipment for radio surveyors, classification societies and administrative authorities. AIS Tester allows to test all type of AIS transponders of any manufacturer.

Sarsat Beacon Monitoring System

Cospas-Sarsat Distress Signal Homer Receiver is specially designed for 406MHz emergency radio beacon signals detection, reception, verifying, decoding and positioning. It is a wide range ground/mobile real-time COSPAS-SARSAT signal decoder designed to locate and verify emergency distress signals sent by any 406MHz ELT in local search area.

AIS (AIS-SART) Tester Pro Lab

AIS (AIS-SART) Tester Pro Lab is designed for laboratories and manufactures of AIS and AIS-SARTs. The AIS Test Set is intended for verification AIS and AIS-SART parameters in real time with saving all received data. AIS Tester Pro Lab is extended version of AIS Tester M1, have the same features but allows to perform deep analysis of AIS and AIS-SART functions in real time.
